Nowra Anglican College is a co-educational college, providing for more than 800 students from pre-school to Year 12. The College’s quality staff aim to provide differentiated instruction, innovative programs and a focus on technology to equip students to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
With a strong representation in fellowship groups and other Christian service activities, the School also has strong ties with Cambodia, where the College conducts annual service excursions in conjunction with its sister schools.
The quality of the College’s academic, performing arts and sporting programs is exemplified by its students’ achievements: Nowra Anglican College is regularly recognised in the list of two hundred top achieving schools in the NSW Higher School Certificate examination. The biannual musical, music showcase evenings, recitals, and drama nights draw large audiences throughout the year. In the sporting arena, the College is also highly regarded, with students regularly selected for representative teams from local to state level each year.
Enrichment programs such as the Years 3 to 11 Camps, Southern Schools Debating and Public Speaking, Duke of Edinburgh Award program, band tours and ski trips, together with the annual trip to Cambodia, make Nowra Anglican College a centre of excellence that encourages the all-rounder to succeed and develops well-rounded, caring and capable students equipped for challenges of the future.
